Formscan By Gary Carson - The four-year-old TAKE THE FREE is open to further improvement and may be able to make a winning start in handicap company. The Walk In The Park gelding looked to appreciate the step up in trip when scoring at Roscommon in early July. He got a 3lb increase for that maiden win and looks on a fair mark. Jupiter Du Gite has been knocking on the door and is an obvious danger. The French-bred chased home Londonofficecallin in Killarney last month having been narrowly denied there on his previous visit. He has crept up 6lb and it makes life a bit tougher. Luck Between Us, a winner on his penultimate start, ran well at Sligo last time and is another to consider.

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (120 = 11st 12lbs)
