Full Noise sent off 8/11 favourite having been supported from 12/1 when betting opened last night, landed a gamble in the Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost Handicap Hurdle (80-102) (DIV I).

Unplaced in his eight previous starts, the most recent of which saw him finish eighth in a handicap chase at Wexford, the Carlotamix gelding tracked the leaders and was ridden to give chase to long-time leader Esthers Marvel (11/2) on the run to the final light.

Sean Flanagan ’s mount collared that one early on the run-in and stayed on well to score by three quarters of a length.

Winning trainer David Dunne said: “He’s a big baby and was probably lucky to win.

“He made a lot of mistakes in Wexford and was only beaten 17 lengths. He may have won but for that. That’s why we put him back over hurdles.

“This looked a weak enough race and we thought if he jumped adequately he had a chance.

“Once the money starts coming then the public latch on.”
