Jody is a huge asset and while I secured her early last week, I had a different horse Thinking Man in mind for her. I thought Thinking Man was really solid but when he got balloted out, I switched her to Ollie La Ba Ba. Thinking Man ended up getting in a reserve and while he ran well to a point, his run petered out. Jody gave the winner a peach and got him up where it mattered. Miss G. Benson, rider of Duke Otto, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled

Miss M. O'Sullivan, rider of Half A Chance, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount received interference from the winner in the straight. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted

Anna McGuinness, rider of King In Love (FR), trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount lost action and pulled up

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Flemens Intrest, trained by David Richard Barry, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend turning into the straight involving Union Park (FR), ridden by Miss P. Elvin, placed sixth, Half A Chance, ridden by Miss M. O'Sullivan, placed second, and Ollie La Ba Ba, ridden by Miss J. Townend, placed first, where it appeared Union Park got tight for room and clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Miss P. Elvin said she got tightened up on the bend by Ollie La Ba Ba causing her to check and clip a heel. Miss M. O'Sullivan said she was down the rail and didn't receive much interference. Miss. J. Townend said she didn't realise Union Park was down her inner and it was an error on her part. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Miss J

Townend in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered her clean record, they suspended her for two racedays.

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (110 = 12st)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
Riders - 1. Lady Riders who hold a Professional Licence under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim an allowance under Rule 52 (up to and including 22nd September). 2. Lady Riders who hold a Professional Licence under National Hunt Rules to ride in hurdle races issued by any Recognised Turf Authority who have not ridden 60 winners or more (up to and including 22nd September). 3. Lady Riders who hold a Qualified Riders Permit Category ''C'' to ride under I.N.H.S. Rules. 4. Lady Riders who hold a Permit to ride in hurdle races against Professional Riders issued by any other Recognised Turf Authority. The IHRB have suspended the relevant parts of Rule 135 for the purposes of this race. Allowances - (up to and including 22nd September and which are not cumulative) Riders who have not ridden 3 *winners allowed..........7lb; Riders who have not ridden 20 *winners allowed..........4lb; Riders who have not ridden 30 *winners allowed..........2lb. No allowance to riders under Rule 52 may be claimed. *Including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing.
