it was a great run the last day when Wayne (Lordan, rider then) said it was unfortunate that the winner just hit her right on the line, so didn’t get a chance to fight her off. All she wants to do is get into a battle and she stayed the seven furlongs really well today. We always thought she would stay but we kept her in the five and six furlong maidens last year because they are less competitive. She had no problem staying seven furlongs today and probably didn’t know herself as she was in her comfort zone early on and seemed to enjoy it. Hopefully she’s a fun filly and we’ll find something with her now. There is a nice fillies handicap in Gowran next Wednesday so we might look at that.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Diego Lima, rider of Senna's Girl, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Diego Lima was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays
