An eyecatching eighth of 23 on his most recent outing over flights at Leopardstown in December 2023, the gelding has moved to Emmet Mullins in the interim. Although yet to recapture his best form this season, the seven-year-old could be reignited by a switch back to jumping. Any market confidence ahead of this race should be noted. Course and distance maiden hurdle winner Diamond Tipp looks the main threat. Despite failing to back up that run here last time, the mare had her excuses on the day. Longstanding maiden Whispering Hopes is also not without her chance.
