Formscan By Gary Carson - MONAKOVA ran really well over course and distance last time and looks the one to follow here. She didn't enjoy the best of passages but stayed on well inside the final furlong and wasn't beaten far in third. The handicapper has given her a 2lb rise for that but that is offset by Ronan Whelan's claim and as we've seen this season he's great value for that. Johnny Murtagh, who rode the selection last time, is an eye-catching booking for Moss Top and money for her would be interesting. She makes her handicap debut having faded late on when making the running in a good Leopardstown maiden last time and looks on a fair enough mark. Queen Of The Sand is another who ran a cracker to finish third here last time, in maiden company. That was over seven, however, and the way she finished wouldn't suggest a drop back in trip is what she wants.
