Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Given the way that Eoin Doyle's horses are operating right now, I wouldn't be betting against MOJITO ROYALE (never runs a bad race here and a three time scorer at the venue) defying top-weight. There's a few factors here backing up his chance. Firstly he is competing off a mark of 75 now having hit a career high of 107 in the summer of 2008. Secondly this is a pretty compressed handicap and despite the fact that the eight-year-old is burdened with ten stone, he is conceding no more than 11Ibs to any of his rivals. Thirdly he should be all the sharper for a run here a fortnight back, his first in over a year. Drawn widest of all in fourteen needn't necessarily be bad news for Mojito Royale and it's a help too that Paddy Mangan will be able to draw something around the allotted weight. You could build cases for many others here as well but Ocean Drift could improve for a first-time tongue-strap and Hes Our Music is better than he showed on deep ground at Navan last time.
