Formscan By Donal Murphy - While out of form in recent starts, SOLITARY MAN has a fine record at Killarney and could bounce back to his best returning to his favourite venue. Disappointingly pulled up when well-fancied for the Kerry National in September, he again failed to make an impact on his return to action at Punchestown last month, but is entitled to come forward from that effort. Gaelic Arc beat some smart rivals when making virtually all in this contest 12-months ago and after a recent win at Kilbeggan, it'll come as no surprise if he dominates from the front again. Five of these ran in the same Tipperary contest earlier this month, with St Faz faring best when second. Still only a five-year-old, he has a course win to his name and is a fascinating contender with Danny Mullins aboard.
