Formscan By Michael Graham - A WAVE OF THE SEA showed a good resolution in Sligo which should stand him in good stead for this test. He toughed it out, from the front, over a similar trip in Connacht and rallied to see off the well-fancied favourite by half a length. Shane Crosse is on board again and his 5lb claim is more than handy in such a competitive race. Lyrical Attraction has been a credit to Jarlath Fahey with two wins and two places in her last four starts. She stormed home by almost five lengths in an apprentice handicap at Cork, so is clearly in fine fettle. Esprit De Lumiere, who she beat a neck into second at Dundalk in April, won a claimer at Fairyhouse yesterday. Dundalk winner Mouriyani is surely much better than his last-place finish on his first turf start at Naas earlier in the month. It wouldn't be a shock to see him leave that form behind in first-time blinkers. Ben Coen's 5lb claim lessens the 9st 12lb burden. Aneczka thundered home at Dundalk for a dead-heat and cannot be ruled out. Laethanta Saoire was seventh in a hot Listed race at the Curragh in the autumn, on debut, before reappearing to win in Dundalk and merits plenty of respect.
