Formscan - Doyen Quest readily accounted for Quebecois at Exeter a month ago, but he had race fitness on his side that day and the latter may be able to reverse that form here. That said, preference is for LAURENS BAY, who progressed well over hurdles last season and won the EBF Final here in March. Jamie Snowden's six-year-old only had one rival to beat on his chasing bow in October, but did so readily and he looks the type to continue to improve. Salver struggled against Lulamba at Exeter but cannot be written off.
