Formscan By Tom Weekes - VALIANT FORCE was a high-class juvenile and contests a suitable race on his first run since October. Winner of the Norfolk Stakes and runner-up in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile in 2023, his form dipped afterwards although showed smart ability in two runs here last October. He defeated Harry’s Bar to win initially, then ran well in a Group 3 contest and should be ok reverting to six furlongs. Big Gossey hasn’t raced since November and while he has the same rating as the selection, is better on turf and hasn’t won at today’s venue since February 2021. Admirable 15-time winning veteran Harry’s Bar, successful in the 2023 renewal, has lost his way recently and first-time blinkers are applied.
