Formscan  - Steppenwolf has disappointed in both outings since winning at Ffos Las in May and has undergone a wind operation. He would have solid claims if back to his best, but a chance is taken on chasing debutant MONTECAM. Nicky Henderson's maiden hurdle winner is a half-brother to the high-class chaser Altior and is fancied to improve now tackling the larger obstacles for the first time. Muskoka and Mighty Moth are others worth noting on their chasing debuts.
