Formscan - IRON D'EX arrives on the back of a respectable fourth at Hereford and makes plenty of appeal returning to the C&D of his sole previous success. The seven-year-old is just 1lb higher than for that victory in class 4 company in October and this class 5 contest looks a decent opportunity for him. Although Dunstall Rambler scored at Wincanton 20 days ago, that was over an extended 1m7f and his stamina is far from proven over this trip. With that in mind, a bigger threat may emerge from stable debutant Stony Man.
