Formscan By John O'Riordan - A WAVE OF THE SEA is a somewhat speculative suggestion on his first start for Shane Broderick. The former course and distance winner showed little in six runs in Britain but is now back in this country having started off with Joseph O'Brien. With the handicapper dropping the gelding 20lb since he last ran over here, he might just prove to be well treated. The Dara Man was runner-up in a Listed handicap chase at Cork when last seen. Despite being absent since October, the John Ryan-trained gelding has run well off a break in the past. Tipperary second Bua Boy is still relatively unexposed over fences although there doesn't look to be much leeway off a mark of 120.
