Formscan By Alan Magee - SPEAK IN COLOURS was a consistent sort last season winning twice at this venue and Joseph O’Brien appears to have found a decent opportunity to add to his tally. The son of Excelebration won Listed and Group 3 events over six furlongs but also ran well over this trip including when third to One Master in the Prix de la Foret at Longchamp. Lancaster House impressed when making a belated debut at the Galway Festival last year and went on to complete a hat-trick before losing his unbeaten record when upped to Group 2 class at Leopardstown on Irish Champions Weekend. It will be interesting to see how he copes over this shorter trip. Psychedelic Funk handles soft ground well and ended a long losing run when coming good on his final start last term in the Knockaire Stakes at Leopardstown. Smash Williams won twice here as a juvenile including at Group 3 level and, after a couple of light seasons, has been generally consistent over the past two years including when beaten just over a length by Imaging in this corresponding race last year.
