Formscan  - Having shaped as if a win over hurdles shouldn't be too far away on his last two starts, this represents a good opportunity for MIKIMOTO to get off the mark in this sphere. Martin Keighley's charge is entitled to have strengthened up since last sighted at Catterick in December last year and this extra yardage is a positive. Night Duty is feared most despite being absent since April last year, as he caught the eye when running on well over the extended 2m4f at Market Rasen, while Silver Thorn is also noted.
