A three-time Listed winner, she ran two fine races within five days in Group 1 company at Royal Ascot. The form of her Jubilee Stakes fourth was boosted in the July Cup and she had Makarova over two lengths behind over this trip earlier that week. Makarova has since won a Group 3 over 5f at Sandown and merits respect along with dual 5f Listed winner Beautiful Diamond who may fare best of the three-year-olds.
