Formscan By Tom Weekes - THEDEVILSCOACHMAN might prove best as he reverts to a rated race following a satisfactory run in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown over Christmas. THEDEVILSCOACHMAN showed smart ability in winning his bumper and maiden hurdle and while well enough held at Leopardstown, nonetheless ran a nice race and drops back in grade here, where he is pitched in with his 5yo's rating of 130, which seems manageable. Riviere D'Etel is a fascinating runner, having finished second in an Auteuil Listed hurdle in September before winning in a canter at Punchestown in December. She has been handed a notional 133 rating for this race and while she could well prove Triumph Hurdle standard, has a tough enough task taking on capable older horses here. Visionarian has shown useful form and while he looks promising and capable of doing well from his 120 rating, does lack a recent outing and runs in a first-time tongue-tie today. Take All is proven from his mark and has solid place claims while Ruaille Buaill has been beaten in two similar races on her most recent starts. Western Run contested a hot handicap on his latest run and has claims despite having top weight. Mighy Tom was too keen at Leopardstown latest.
