Formscan By Tom Weekes - ENSEL DU PERCHE is a hopeful pick to defy top weight and win. He seemed to show some improved form on his third career start in October 2019 and returned following a 415 days absence when a useful third in a maiden hurdle at Naas in December and, notably, was well supported when a first fence faller at Punchestown six days ago. He contests his first handicap from 107 today, is largely unexposed and is open to plenty progression. Satin Sun has obvious claims having shown good form on two of her last three starts. She should win a handicap from her rating but might find one or two too strong while stablemate Castlegrange refused in a melee on his latest start but has claims on previous hurdles form. Thunderosa was well held when third on his most recent start but did beat plenty horses then while Wild Caprice runs in a first-time tongue-tie having placed in a maiden hurdle at Tramore latest. Winsor Vixen has recently recaptured his best form from years ago and while exposed, has obvious place claims while Bitsandpieces is now 12 but ran well over fences when last seen 305 days ago and has a lower mark over hurdles and could go well for a yard in excellent form.
