Formscan  - CABALLO DE MAR's winning run came to an end when second in the Chester Cup but that was still a career-best effort and the progressive four-year-old can return to winning ways in this company, despite being 5lb higher. Gibside lifted the Chester Plate at the same meeting on the Roodee, but was behind the selection on his two starts immediately prior to that. Align The Stars has disappointed the last twice but it is too soon to be writing him off.
