Three weeks on from that run, Paul Nicholls' King George winner can be expected to be ready to go again and he could be a different proposition with his match-fitness topped up. Royale Pagaille goes well fresh and has proven himself over these fences, but last year's winner Protektorat looks the principal danger given he has undergone wind surgery since his fifth in the Gold Cup. Grand National hero Corach Rambler should run his race but faces a stiff task on these terms.
