Formscan By John O'Riordan - OPERA SINGER can get back to winning ways having just been denied on her most recent visit to this track. The Aidan O'Brien trained filly stayed on strongly once headed inside the final furlong so looks as though she will appreciate stepping back up in distance here. On the bare form of her Leopardstown maiden win last month, the daughter of Justify should confirm placings with the fourth, Kalispera. Although the latter has since picked up blacktype, there is no reason to suggest she has improved sufficiently to overturn that form. Shelaka looked a very smart filly when making a winning debut at Tipperary earlier this month. Strictly on collateral form the Dermot Weld trained juvenile has a little to find with Opera Singer but on the plus side, she only needs to step up marginally on that first run.
