The selection did have the benefit of a previous outing this term and Narciso Has certainly progressed when landing a Grade 2 over course and distance at the Christmas Festival meeting with North Shore and Barbizon soundly beaten in third and fourth respectively. Willie Mullins’ challenge is further bolstered by Selma De Vary and Bertutea who both won in clearcut fashion on heavy ground last time, while Immediate Effect was rated in the high 80s on the Flat and made a winning start over hurdles at Punchestown.
