Although yet to get his head in front since switching to the track, the seven-year-old has been placed on six of his nine starts. The form of his recent third placing in a Grade B Handicap Chase at the Punchestown Festival looks particularly strong in the context of this race. Katou has to be respected on her hurling debut but will need to show improvement from her sole start in a Thurles bumper in December. Given connections, there must be every possibility that she is capable of much better than that debut effort. Rule The Wind, a stablemate of the latter, holds claims if reproducing his Tipperary run.
