Formscan By Gary Carson - SAMURAI CRACKER may be able to land the spoils here in a tricky looking heat. The former hunter chaser has run well in some decent novice contests of late and this looks a nice trip for him. He has won in testing conditions in the past so the forecast rain wouldn't be a big issue. Desire De Joie has been running consistently enough, including on his last two visits here, and looks one that could be in the mix at the business end. Jack Hackett is a previous course and distance winner but would need to step up on recent efforts. Ask Nile ran a big race on his penultimate outing, over course and distance, and looks another that has to be considered.
