Formscan - Having got the better of a subsequent winner over 2m4f here in December, KNIGHT OF ALLEN ran as well as expected when finishing fourth in a novice chase at Cheltenham on New Year's Day. The six-year-old should prove more competitive reverting to handicap company and he's taken to regain the winning thread. Course winner Jig's Forge likely has better days ahead of him as well and may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of the hat-trick seeking Silver Thorn.
