The grey came in for big support, forcing his price down to 5/4 favourite for a similar contest to this. He duly delivered on his first start since being moved across from Val O’Brien to Cullentra House Stables, working hard to get the better of Mount Pelier by half a length. Off a seven pound higher mark this time, the American-bred could well go in again.
