He was purchased, unbroken, as a three year old for E40,000 at the Derby Sale in June 2015, is by the same sire as Vroum Vroum Mag and is out of a winning French dam. He is sure to be well primed on debut and can play a leading part. Imperial Way has useful recent form to his name and comes here clearly fit and well. He was beaten by a smart winner over CD last month and any progression would see him involved today. Someday is absent since a cracking debut effort when second to a useful winner at Punchestown last April but is sure to be primed for this. The form of that bumper hasn’t worked out to be top class but he nonetheless clearly has plenty ability. Line Out ran well when second here over Christmas and is another with claims. Golden Oriole’s trainer, who won this race three times as a jockey between 2009-2014, spoke well about his gelding’s chances on ATR recently and, having also a good pedigree and bought for E62,000 as a 3yo, has to be respected on debut. Suncroft, himself bought for an eye-watering E130,000 as a 3yo, is another with solid claims on bumper debut while Its All Guesswork made a pleasing hurdles debut recently and can be expected to win his bumper.
