Formscan By Gary Carson - This represents a significant drop in class for DRAYCOTT PLACE who has been given some stiff tasks during his career. The one worry would be the ground as he would prefer it better but he looks good enough on it to land this class of race as he has handled testing conditions to be placed in the past. Lord Adare looks the threat. He was well held on his latest outing over fences at Gowran Park but the field was very well strung out then in testing conditions. He won a decent maiden hurdle at Limerick last year and took his bumper on heavy so he looks capable of a big show. Stonehall Jack never got involved at Clonmel last time when his jumping left a bit to be desired. He hadn't run too badly on his chase debut at the same course previously and in this company should get into the prize-money.
