FormscanBy Tom Weekes - VENT D'AUTOMNE might be able to show the benefit of his recent reappearance run and turn form with stablemate Et Dite and win this. VENT D'AUTOMNE, a point to point winner in the past, is a useful performer on testing ground and ran a solid race on his first run following a 346 days absence at Punchestown last month. That was his first hurdles start over a staying trip and being the stable first-string today, can turn 0.25L form with Et Dite and win. Et Dite is herself a useful mare and while she seemed to show progression when upped in trip on her latest start, might struggle to beat the selection today. Axiomatic ran well on very testing ground at Clonmel last month, has some useful bits of form but is vulnerable to smart types. Atlantic Shore is proven as a useful stayer and while he is vulnerable to smart types on a going day, he has refused to race on his last two starts. He now runs in first-time blinkers and clearly needs to behave himself at the start, which is a big concern.
