Formscan  - RETRACEMENT caught the eye with a promising third over this trip on debut at Yarmouth in April. The Wiliam Haggas-trained gelding was slowly away on that occasion but, under a coaxing ride from Tom Marquand, he got better the further he went. The winner of that race subsequently landed the Heron Stakes at Sandown, giving the form a rock-solid appearance. Habitual and Wind River appeal most from the opposition.
