He has won just once in 18 career starts but is nonetheless a useful type who had been running well in handicap chases prior to his Fairyhouse fall. Stepping up in trip might not be ideal and while he also now competes from a career high chase rating of 128, he does have good ground in his favour and he comes here clearly fit and well. Teacher's Pet will be well suited by stepping back up to this trip, having attained black-type in a Listed race at Naas recently. She is a staying type who should also figure from her rating and is also suited by good ground. Jett might ideally prefer softer ground than he has been encountering and while he cannot be dismissed despite carrying top weight, his latest runs suggest he may not be ahead of the handicapper. Monatomic has been running well over fences recently and should figure from his rating with trip and ground in his favour while Ask Nile ran well in a slightly lesser handicap chase at Naas last month and has his chance today stepping up in grade.
