Formscan By Tom Weekes - BRITZKA is smart and runs in a first-time tongue-tie having ran well when third in a Leopardstown Grade 2 over Christmas. He failed to win in 11 flat starts but won well on hurdles debut and drops down in grade following his good Leopardstown run. White Pepper, a higher-rated flat performer than the selection, was placed at Listed level at Aintree last month and beat Iberique Du Seuil by 13 lengths to win at Galway in October. She also has solid claims. Iberique Du Seuil himself won his latest start narrowly at Cork but possibly needs to improve. Feugh was Grade 3-placed at Fairyhouse in November but was well held by the first two finishers, which subsequently fought out the finish of the Leopardstown race involving the selection. Black Sirius, beaten in two French flat races, won on his only previous hurdles start (when even money favourite) at Toulouse on October 20 and could go well on Irish debut, being race-fit and proven over jumps.
