Formscan By Donal Murphy - A competitive affair. After running in a Group 3 on her most recent start at Fairyhouse, PERFECT THUNDER should appreciate this drop-in class. Successful in a maiden at the Curragh in March, the Night Of Thunder bay had five subsequent winners in behind, including Irish Oaks runner-up Toy. Stepping-up in trip to a mile for the first time, the Joseph O'Brien trained selection can be expected to go close with Jake Coen taking 5lb off. Helpmeout has already won twice over the course and distance this summer and is sure to have plenty of supporters. Her form is a bit in and out though, with her penultimate effort at Limerick disappointing. Shanghai Dragon sprang a surprise in a first-time visor at Gowran and with the visor retained, she should give a good account. Top-weight Red Heel will be looking to bounce back from a mishap at Galway, while Nectarine and Inchiquin Star are others for the shortlist.
