Formscan By Alan Magee - CLASHNABROOK has proved a good servant to connections and can gain his fifth career win. The Alderbrook gelding progressed from a lowly initial mark to win three handicap hurdles last season, and opened his chasing account over this distance at Gowran Park in November. He’s quite versatile trip wise and ran a cracker when beating all bar Grand National candidate Colbert Station in a three-mile handicap hurdle at Punchestown last time. A current rating of 98 over fences looks very exploitable. Mark Me Up is a pretty consistent sort in handicap hurdles without winning too often, and now tackles handicap company for the first time over fences following three rather underwhelming efforts. A market move would be interesting. Hold Em Cowboy never really threatened at Naas last time but did keep on to take the runner-up spot, and has an each-way chance.
