Formscan By Tom Weekes - JUMP THE SHARK hasn’t run since disappointing last June but had a veterinary excuse then and seems on a favourable rating on his reappearance run, for an in-form yard. His hurdles form was nothing special and his initial chase form was poor but was a well-backed winner at Downpatrick last May, before returning lame at Punchestown the following month. He lacks a recent run but remains reasonably unexposed. Stablemate Theonewedreamof ran well at Cheltenham last month and while she doesn’t look ahead of the handicapper, should compete. Tankardstown Diva was in contention when falling at the final fence on chase debut at Down Royal on St Stephen’s Day but today’s race looks more competitive.
