Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Those out to ‘get’ ENVOI ALLEN will likely hang their hats on his recent obviously far from ideal change of stable. Despite like so many others, having always been a fully paid up member of Envoi Allen’s fan club, this observer couldn’t resist a small lay at heavy odds-on in the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle last year. He teased then, briefly looking in trouble and hitting 4.2 in-running. The fabulous son of Muhtathir soon stamped his authority on proceedings and he can retain his unbeaten record now. You don’t see many more impressive winners at Cheltenham than Chatham Street Lad here in December. Trust Mick Winters to have him back at concert pitch, and he’s very likely to put in a huge performance.
