Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - All runnings of this event to date, have shown that sticking close to the obvious and rowing in behind a Willie Mullins runner is the way to go. Previously under the care of Mullins, Skyace, would be a heart-warming victor, given her 600 pound purchase price. She’s very much here on merit, and ‘Shark’ Hanlon, the man that set Rachael Blackmore on the road to greatness, is entitled to fancy his chances with the Westerner mare. Royal Kahala is another to take very seriously, but for a selection one of the Closutton quartet will do. We have Gauloise, GLENS OF ANTRIM, Hook Up and Pont Aval to choose from. J P McManus also definite hopes with Roseys Hollow. She’s still a maiden but there could be any amount of improvement to come from Glens Of Antrim, with Jonjo O’Neill junior up in the green and gold.
