Formscan By Tom Weekes - There may be little between IMMEDIATE RESPONSE and Canaly here. Smart hurdler IMMEDIATE RESPONSE made a good chase debut at Limerick last month and seems to have taken quite well to chasing and may have a slight edge over Canaly, who was himself a smart hurdler but finished well beaten in the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas. However he was well fancied then and is better than that showing having been eased when beaten. Belle Brook has obvious claims on handicap ratings but was well held on two runs this season, pulling up in the Thyestes Chase latest. Miradene has a layoff to overcome and may struggle while Rinroe is out of form.
