Formscan By Gary Carson - FIERY OSCAR ran really well here a fortnight ago and is fancied to go one better now despite a 5lb rise for that effort. He just couldn't match Whiskey And Rye from the last then but that looks a solid effort as the winner was a well backed favourite then. Colman Sweeney again takes the mount for his father and a good rider, especially one who knows his mount, is a plus in these amateur events. On pure figures A New Story looks thrown in compared to his cross-country rating but he was well held when last seen over timber at Gowran Park in November and this looks on the sharp side for him. The chances of Super Vic will largely depend on how she performs at Punchestown on Wednesday. She ran a cracker at Fairyhouse last time and with few miles on the clock is open to improvement. Korean is consistent but probably needs to drop a few pounds to give him a winning chance again.
