The son of Siyouni was a creditable 2nd on debut for Michael O’Callaghan but hasn’t really progressed from that run. He may have needed his reappearance run in the curragh on stable debut and can be taken to turn the tables with reopposing rival Lady Pagasa. Johnny Murtagh’s charge finished seven and a half lengths in front of the selection when second in a Naas maiden last year. Although this performance inspired some hope, she has failed to gain her first success at short odds on a few occasions and returns for her seasonal debut today. Powerful Hook Head took a step forward in Dundalk only three days ago, whilst Piatra Neamt should improve from his encouraging debut last year to fight out the places.
