Formscan By Michael Graham - It has to be hoped that HIGH DESERT’s course and distance win over hurdles in November will have given him confidence now he returns to steeplechasing. Bar a 19 length second to Flemenstar that leaps off the page in November 2011, his chasing efforts have left a bit to be desired. Arthur Moore confirmed after his hurdle victory that he is a delicate horse and needs to run fresh so hopefully everything is in place for a good performance. Potential threats are thin on the ground. This distance looks too short for The Book Thief while Where’s The Dosh has an absence of 431 days to overcome. Perhaps Aviatore can run into a place at a price. He is thoroughly exposed over hurdles, but has thrown in some useful results.
