Formscan  - VINTAGE CLARETS, who was due to run in a valuable sprint at Musselburgh prior to it's abandonment on Saturday, is taken to land the spoils. Richard Fahey's charge progressed well last season, finishing third at Doncaster when last seen in October, and this career-high mark could still be within range. It would be unwise to rule out a Paul Midgley sprinter and Elegant Erin, who is lurking on a dangerous mark, must be considered. Wen Moon can chase the pair home.
