Formscan By Alan Magee - BRAVEMANSGAME has always been held in the highest regard and a combination of slick jumping and proven stamina makes him difficult to oppose. The Paul Nicholls-trained gelding put Ahoy Senor to the sword in a Grade 1 at Kempton over Christmas and, having defied a handicap mark of 159 at Newbury last time, sets a high standard. L’Homme Presse has also impressed with his jumping since sent chasing and has a course win to his credit over 2m4f on New Year’s Day. He was particularly impressive in a Grade 1 at Sandown last month and, if staying this extra half-mile, would rate a serious threat. Ahoy Senor jumped noticeably left when winning at both Newbury and Wetherby, while Capodanno should be suited by the step up to three miles and looks the pick of the Irish contingent.
