Formscan By Alan Magee - Willie Mullins appears to have a particularly strong bunch of bumper horses this season and FACILE VEGA sets the bar very high following two impressive wins at Leopardstown. The son of wonder mare Quevega beat Joyeux Machin by six lengths at Christmas and doubled his winning margin when impressively landing a Grade 2 at the Dublin Racing Festival last month. Redemption Day didn’t come off the bridle when also scoring at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting, while James’s Gate is another from Closutton to file in the could be anything category after an impressive Punchestown debut. American Mike is held in very high regard by Gordon Elliott and the form of his latest easy win in a Navan Listed event was boosted when the runner-up went very close in a mares Grade 2 race.
