Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - He doesn't exactly jump off the page but there are reasons for hoping for better from FORESTSIDE. Firstly, Barry Geraghty takes the mount again after the seven-year-old son of Zagreb under-performed at Navan last time. However, the dual winner and point-to-point scorer is now fitted with cheek-pieces and Jimmy Lambe is on the record as saying: "He won his point-to-point and has some very good form to his name and was third to Grey Soldier at Naas. I'd be very optimistic that he'll pay his way over hurdles." Of course it's also been encouraging to see Lambe among the winners lately. Plenty more of these have more solid claims on the book than Forestside with Dactik going for a course and distance hat-trick. Maybe the handicapper has his measure at this stage but you couldn't be sure of that. Eoin Doyle's horses are going so well at the minute that it would be folly to dismiss the chances of For A Finish. Despite top-weight, For A Finish is well-handicapped in this sphere and Brian Cawley claims a useful 7Ibs. You'd never know what the talented Jack Absolute could produce after a break, whilst as a course winner Knockmehill Lady also comes into the reckoning.
