Formscan By Tom Weekes - BROOMFIELD BIJOU would ideally prefer a longer distance and also makes her chase debut but might have sufficient ability to win. She drops in trip, having had two mid-field finishes in smart hurdles earlier this year but won at a Punchestown festival handicap at this distance in 2023 and likes sound surfaces. Still Ciel won a point-to-point on her career debut and has a big race-fitness edge, having run well on her chase debut. She inherited second place at the final fence in Tipperary but nonetheless showed promise and can be depended upon to run well. Implicit won at April's Fairyhouse festival and while her recent form is very poor, it is encouraging Paul Townend retains the ride.
