Formscan - A ready winner over this course and distance in March, SUMMER IN MILAN appeals the most off a 6lb higher mark with similar ground conditions underfoot. Freddie Gordon already knows the six-year-old well and another bold showing looks highly likely. Pearl's Pirate was only fourth in that race but could feasibly get closer if he settles better in cheekpieces. However, a bigger danger to the selection could be the low-mileage Vorderman.
