Dingle Derby hero rides first racecourse winner
I've known about Dylan for the past year or two and I've been keeping an eye on him. When Sean Bowen (champion UK apprentice jockey) moved away to the UK, I was looking out for someone to take on. Dylan is a Cork man and I was asking one of the valets two weeks ago where I would get a good apprentice so he said to ring him, as Michael Halford had just retired and Dylan was signed-on to him. I signed him up straight away. We will try and mind his 10lb claim although I'd say he will probably go jumping eventually.

we told Jack to ride him as he found him but he had employed hold-up tactics the previous night so did something similar. He was mindful that there might be one or two that might go off quick. The race ended up in two halves early-on, so it looked hard work at the top of the straight. It didn't look like he would get there but he ground it out. His class is above these but, unfortunately, there is no programme for this horse coming up. There's limited races and limited opportunities for him and we also know he doesn't operate as well on turf, so said we’d just take advantage of this race. If we lose the horse, very best of luck to the next man and he has been a super servant.
Tiberius Thunder wins well on debut
he's going to improve a lot, there is a huge engine there. It was his first day at school and he has never been anywhere. He dug deep and he is far from the finished product: he is going to improve an awful lot. He will probably go for a winners' of one in Naas on the second week of the Flat season next and we will probably supplement him for the Guineas as well. He has a bright future.

he toughs it out well. sThe last day I thought he got a bit lonely in front and at the 100 yard marker today, I thought for a second if something came they might just catch him. Luke got one into him though and he toughed it out well. He wanted a lead just to be taken into it and it is hard to stay going in front around here with a horse like him.
