The winner, Bear Market (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Warwick on 21 February 2025, where the gelding finished fourth of eight, beaten 21 ¼ lengths.
The representative of Nicky Henderson explained that the gelding had benefitted from the first-time application of a tongue tie on this occasion and appeared to appreciate the return to Good ground.
His explanation was noted and Bear Market (IRE) was routine tested.
